Project Details

The carbide paint scraper series was designed for professional painters with the purpose of providing more control over the blade, therefor, increasing the scraping efficiency. To achieve this goal, the evolution of the project centered on the ergonomic shape of the handle, knob and scraper’s head. Especially the purpose of the knob is to maximize the scraping transfer power and the control of the blades’s angle. At the end of the development process, important objectives have been achieved to:  save time & effort, increase productivity and prevent health problems and injuries. In the final, the main features of the scraper series (0.5″, 2″, 2.5″ ) are: a knob that maximizes the control of the scraper allowing both hands to be as close as possible to the blade, a steel head that hammers nails, a body handle with a fluid ergonomic shape which is also heavy-duty to resist against high strength without deflecting and an over-all design without cavities and burrs to prevent any pressure points.
